Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2025

This policy explains what information Steady Growth Practice ("we," "our," or the "Practice"), operated by Dr. Katie Banani, PhD, collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. This site is an informational and consultation-request website. It is not a portal for clinical care, and submitting an inquiry does not create a doctor–patient or coaching relationship.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide. When you submit the consultation form, we collect your name, email address, the reason for reaching out (individual or corporate), and anything else you choose to share in the message field.
  • Correspondence. If you email or call us, we retain that correspondence so we can respond and keep a record of the request.
  • Basic technical information. Our hosting provider may automatically log standard request data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) for security and reliability. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on this site.

How we use your information

  • Respond to consultation requests and other inquiries.
  • Schedule and prepare for an initial conversation.
  • Maintain the security and proper functioning of the site.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How your information is stored

Inquiries submitted through this site are stored in a secured database hosted by our infrastructure provider and are accessible only to Dr. Banani and authorized administrators of the Practice. Access is protected by authentication and role-based permissions.

Confidentiality of clinical care

Please do not include sensitive clinical details, protected health information, or crisis content in the consultation form. This website is intended for general inquiries only. Clinical services, when provided, are delivered under a separate written agreement and are governed by applicable professional and legal confidentiality rules — not by this website policy.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or 911, or go to your nearest emergency department.

Retention

We retain inquiry records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, follow up, and meet our record-keeping obligations. You may ask us to delete a specific inquiry by contacting us at the address below.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have submitted through this site by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, subject to applicable legal and professional requirements.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them through the site.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
